By the middle of May, Florida State’s #Tribe26 recruiting class is still ranked in the top 25 in the nation. Despite adding a few players this summer, some of the prospects on the Seminoles’ commitment list have been committed for more than a year.
Programs from around the country have still attempted to participate in some of Florida State’s most prominent promises.
Efrem White, a four-star athlete and FSU commitment, was offered by Notre Dame over the weekend, making them the newest school to do so. White has not yet been hosted by the Fighting Irish, but they will probably attempt to invite him for an official visit this summer.
White became the second-longest tenured member of the class, aside from four-star safety Darryl Bell III, when he committed to the Seminoles in December 2023. Since then, he has largely stuck to that choice, but he has scheduled an official visit to Florida State and North Carolina State.
White had an effect on the field as a junior. On defense, he recorded 24 tackles, two tackles for loss, one sack, one pass deflection, and three interceptions. On offense, he caught 25 receptions for 349 yards and six touchdowns. White gained 185 yards (30.8 yards per return) from six kickoff returns. He averaged 32.1 yards per kick while playing punter for Vero Beach High School.
On September 12, White caught a season-high four passes for 110 yards and two scores as Vero Beach defeated Centennial High School 27-0. Throughout the season, he intercepted a pass in three separate games.
According to 247Sports, the 6-foot-1.5, 155-pound athlete is ranked as the No. 30 recruit in Florida for the 2026 class, the No. 12 ATH, and the No. 207 overall talent.

Florida State, which is ranked No. 23 in the nation, has nine verbal commitments in their 2026 class. The Seminoles have already acquired four-star wide receiver Darryon Williams in addition to White.
