Duke added a late addition to the recruiting class on Friday, indicating that they are not yet finished assembling their 2025–2026 squad.
Sebastian Wilkins, a 4-star power forward from New Hampshire who was also considering Maryland, is the late addition from the high school ranks. Dushawn London of 247 Sports reports that Wilkins, who was once a candidate for the 2026 recruiting class, committed to Duke and will reclassify to attend the Blue Devils for this season.

For Jon Scheyer, the late pickup is a welcome lift. As a result of his reclassification, the 247 Sports Composite ranks Wilkins as the nation’s seventh PF and 35th overall player for 2026.

Wilkins’ pledge increases Duke’s high school recruiting class to five players, all of whom are ranked among the cycle’s top 35 prospects. While 5-star forward Cameron Boozer leads the class as the No. 3 overall player, Dame Sarr, another late addition to the Italian recruiting class, is ranked as the 32nd overall talent available.
In his third season as head coach after taking over from longstanding Mike Krzyzewski, Scheyer led the Blue Devils to their first Final Four berth this past season. Duke lost a late lead, but they were still in a strong position to defeat Houston and go to the national championship game.
