Since Nolan Arenado seems to be with the St. Louis Cardinals, the offseason’s most talked-about issue has been simmering.
Baseball insider Bob Nightengale of USA Today says there are no rumors about Arenado.
In recent reports, Nightengale noted, “The St. Louis Cardinals are not receiving any interest in third baseman Nolan Arenado after he rejected trades this winter to the Houston Astros and Los Angeles Angels.”
No teams appear interest in trading for Cardinals’ third baseman Nolan Arenado
Arenado is acting as though he wishes he were in St. Louis. This season, his general demeanor has really improved. He appears to be more involved with his teammates and strives to make them better. His defense at the hot corner is excellent, and his hitting has become better.

Arenado is hitting .247/.323/.380 with an OPS of .702. He has four home runs, 17 walks, 21 runs, 18 RBIs, and 10 doubles. With the help of new hitting instructor Brant Brown, he has been putting a lot of effort into honing his ability to choose quality pitches to hit.
The Cardinals’ president of baseball operations, John Mozeliak, was determined to trade Arenado this offseason in order to take the contract off the books and give younger players a chance to earn the spot. The aspirant candidate to succeed him was Nolan Gorman.
Gorman hasn’t got a chance to completely assume the job because of injuries and the desire to improve. Gorman has an OPS of.566 and is hitting.173/.286/.280. He has nine RBIs, 13 walks, 11 runs, one home run, and five doubles.
When Brown was appointed as the hitting coach, he started working with Gorman. In the off-season, the two reside close to one another and go to work. Gorman and Brown are working together to boost his self-assurance at the plate.
Mozeliak is committed to providing Gorman with every chance to get better, and he hopes Gorman seizes the chance.
As he should, Mozeliak has expressed his satisfaction with the team’s current trajectory. This season, the squad has a much better record of 27–23. At the July trade deadline, he stated that he would want to have some tough choices to make. During Mozeliak’s last deadline with the Cardinals, the fan base will undoubtedly be tense with anticipation for what could or might not occur.
The Cardinals have had an incredible run this season; let’s hope they continue to have success.
