The St. Louis Cardinals made a pair of roster moves Thursday, selecting the contract of right-hander Andre Granillo and recalling outfielder Michael Siani from Triple-A Memphis.
To make room on the roster, the team optioned right-hander Chris Roycroft and designated outfielder Ryan Vilade for assignment.
Granillo, 25, is slated to make his MLB debut after a strong run in Triple-A Memphis, where he posted a 4-0 record with a 1.82 ERA over 18 relief outings, holding opposing hitters to a .159 average.

Siani, also 25, returns to the Cardinals after going 4-for-16 (.250) in 18 games earlier this season. He carries a career batting average of .222, with two homers and 20 RBIs across parts of four seasons with the Reds (2022–23) and Cardinals.
