In 2025–2026,  he participated in three non-conference games for the Wildcats, logging nine minutes and two points. On Monday, March 30, Sam Kayser of League Ready, a well-known basketball recruiting social media account, announced Osei’s anticipated departure.

The 6-foot-10 sophomore wing played one season at juco Casper College (Wyoming) before transferring to the Wildcats prior to the 2025–2026 campaign. Jerome Tang’s roster included a number of foreign players, including the Toronto native.

Osei’s anticipated exit isn’t significant or unexpected, but it does mark the start of numerous Wildcats expressing their plans to use the transfer portal in the next week. On Tuesday, April 7, the transfer portal will open.

In his first season, Casey Alexander, the new coach at Kansas State, is anticipated to overhaul almost the whole Wildcats roster. Devin Hutcherson and Jaylen Alexander, two guys he attracted to Belmont who have declared they would play at Kansas State, are the only players on his roster as of right now.
