“Sources tell ESPN that Kyle Tucker, the widely regarded finest player available in free agency, decided to sign with the Dodgers on Thursday, just over a month after star closer Edwin Diaz did the same. After failing to come to an agreement to trade outfielder Nick Castellanos, the Philadelphia Phillies released him on Thursday. After bringing beer into the dugout during a game last season, Castellanos disclosed that he was benched. Although Castellanos is regarded as one of the game’s worse defenders, he would offer a potent right-handed bat but be less dependable defensively. Nevertheless, the Blue Jays find him to be an intriguing alternative due to his offensive potential.
