A 7-foot center who previously competed for France’s Elite 2 League, has joined Auburn basketball’s 2026–27 roster.

The following statement from head coach Steven Pearl was included in a press release that Auburn’s social media account sent on Tuesday morning.

“We are thrilled to have Narcisse Ngoy join our program. Pearl described him as a high-upside young man who approaches everything with physicality, tenacity, and a team-first mentality. On both ends of the court, Narcisse has a keen sense of the game. He will have an instant effect and meet a critical need for our team thanks to his instincts, rim protection, ability to catch and finish around the basket, and willingness to accept contact.

The loss of KeShawn Murphy, who has used up all of his college eligibility, is effectively addressed by this addition. With a league-high average of 10.8 points and 11.5 rebounds per game, Ngoy was a formidable force in France. In terms of blocked shots, Ngoy also led the league (2.5).
