According to Steve Wiltfong, the Kentucky Wildcats are back on the board for the 2027 class after switching tight end from the Auburn Tigers. After growing rumors that Kentucky was on the verge of acquiring the offensive talent, Proctor formally made the switch on Thursday.

Proctor, a 6-5, 220-pound American Heritage (FL) product, committed to the Tigers back in January, but Will Stein and company persisted in applying pressure, which ultimately resulted in the flip. According to 247 Sports Composite, the 3-star recruit is ranked 761st overall, 41st among tight ends, and 73rd in the state of Florida.

The Miami Hurricanes, Florida Gators, Duke Blue Devils, Florida State Seminoles, Louisville Cardinals, SMU Mustangs, Iowa Hawkeyes, and Missouri Tigers are some of the other universities that have extended offers to Proctor.

In the first full cycle under Will Stein, Kentucky Football has nine promises in the class of 2027. It’s safe to assume that the Cats have a bright future ahead of them.
