Bregman was one of several Red Sox batters who struggled early this season, but he led them to victory in their rubber match against the Orioles on Thursday, finishing 3-for-5 with a home run, two doubles, three runs batted in, and two runs scored. Now, he’ll play his first game at Fenway Park as a Boston Red Sox player, and his enthusiasm will undoubtedly rub off on fans.
“It’ll be a blast. “I can’t wait,” Bregman told Christopher Smith of MassLive. “I’m most excited tonight to meet my wife and son. I haven’t seen them for maybe a month and a half. So that will be amazing. And I can’t wait to get to the ballgame tomorrow, which will undoubtedly be rocking.

Bregman was the Red Sox’s biggest addition in free agency this offseason, signing a three-year, $120 million contract. He’s already proven to be a potentially game-changing addition, fitting in well with their lineup and playing great defense at third base.
With Bregman and the rest of Boston’s bats finally waking up, the team appears determined to live up to its reputation as one of the most exciting in the majors this season.
