Amario Cozier-Duberry is reportedly set to stay at Arsenal this January transfer window after rumours that Wolves were interested in the winger.

The 18-year-old attacker is one of Arsenal’s most exciting academy prospects and a youngster that many supporters believe could one day be in Mikel Arteta’s first-team.

Wolves are apparently interested in signing Cozier-Duberry this window due to his potential, with Arsenal having already lost Lino Sousa and Bradley Ibrahim from their academy.

However, according to the Evening Standard, Arsenal will not allow Cozier-Duberry to leave this window, and Reuell Walters is also anticipated to remain in north London after today’s deadline.

Analyst Saumy Deepak Tripathi described Cozier-Duberry as a ‘rapid’ attacker, and it would have been unwise for the north London club to let him depart for a Premier League competitor this month.

And this is a positive update for the Gunners, as Cozier-Duberry is a player who could emerge in the coming months at Emirates Stadium.

Bukayo Saka, Emile Smith Rowe, and Folarin Balogun have all emerged from Arsenal’s youth in recent years, making it something of a goldmine.

And Cozier-Duberry might easily become the latest youngster to emerge from the academy and become a superstar, as Arsenal are clearly great supporters of the adolescent attacker.

While a loan move could benefit Cozier-Duberry, Arsenal’s decision not to offload the attacker is a positive omen for the future, as the winger is a potential sensation in north London.
