Bruno Guimaraes is hoping that one of his Newcastle United colleagues will pledge his future to the club in the coming weeks.

Newcastle have been speaking with Joelinton for some time now, hoping to reach an agreement on a new contract, and it was revealed yesterday that talks were going well.

Bruno was streaming on Twitch last night, and he made it obvious that he hoped his colleague will soon sign a new deal to extend his time in Newcastle.

Bruno desperate for Joelinton to stay at Newcastle

Bruno, like other Newcastle supporters, does not want to see his international teammate leave in the summer, with whom he has built such a strong friendship over the last few years.

The 26-year-old has played a significant role in Joelinton’s growth as a player, helping him elevate his own game and force his way into the Brazil national team, something no one would have predicted before Eddie Howe.

offered his progress and rising stature in the team, Joelinton believes it is only reasonable that he be offered a new contract with better terms that will place him among the club’s greatest earners.

Following Dan Ashworth’s departure, Newcastle co-owner Amanda Staveley is thought to be in charge of the discussions, and it appears that she has stepped up her efforts to keep the £40 million star in the North East.

On the stream, Bruno stated, “I hope Joe signs. “I hope so.”

Newcastle have nobody else like Joelinton

As Howe previously stated, Newcastle has a really special player in Joelinton, whose strength and energy in midfield have proven to be so important in crucial games over the last few seasons.

The 27-year-old has been out since suffering an injury against Sunderland in the FA Cup, and Newcastle’s midfield hasn’t been the same.

It wasn’t until Joe Willock returned from injury that they noticed a significant difference in having a guy with some enthusiasm and quickness, which Joelinton surely possesses in abundance.

Newcastle are still hoping to see Joelinton return before the end of the season, pairing up with Bruno once more, but they will have to be cautious given his injury, which is set to keep him out until May.
