For the future, the Cleveland Guardians continue to add players.

Since they are unlikely to outperform other clubs in free agency, small-market teams are fully aware of the necessity to increase firepower through the farm system.

The Guardians have been quite good at that sort of thing throughout history.

That was the case once more with their most recent move, according to a Guardians Prospective article on X.

It looks like they have signed Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic-based RHP Juan Yan.

In the next Dominican Summer League season, he will make his professional debut while training at Global Baseball Academy.

He received a bonus of $45,000.

Little is known about the pitching prospect at the time of writing.

Nevertheless, there shouldn’t be any concerns because of the Guardians’ excellent development team and keen eye for hurlers.

To be signed is one thing, but to truly make it to the Big Leagues, he will need to work hard, be lucky, and stay healthy in order to realize his lifetime ambition of being a member of The Big Show.
