Auburn Tigers men’s basketball is currently in Greece for a two-game foreign tour—its first since the summer of 2022.

The Tigers will take on KK Mega Basket on August 8 and 9 at Chanioti Ano Mera Indoor Hall. The Serbian squad should provide a strong test ahead of head coach Steven Pearl’s second season leading Auburn.

According to Auburn writer Justin Ferguson, the Tigers will be without four players for the weekend matchups. Mantas Rubstavicius and Narcisse Ngoy are sidelined while awaiting eligibility clearance for the 2026–27 season. Meanwhile, Creighton transfer Owen Freeman (foot) and former Eastern Kentucky/Vanderbilt guard George Kimble (hand) will also sit out as they recover from injuries.

Mantas Rubstavicius and Narcisse Ngoy have the potential to be two of Auburn’s most impactful offseason additions. Rubstavicius brings valuable experience from playing in Lithuania and the EuroLeague, while Ngoy, a native of France, was unexpectedly selected late in the second round of the 2026 NBA Draft. Although the Atlanta Hawks initially held his rights and later traded them to the Los Angeles Clippers, Ngoy chose to stick with his commitment to Auburn for the 2026–27 season rather than turn pro right away.
