Doug King has made a statement criticizing the ‘disgraceful’ banners exhibited before the Sky Blues meeting with Leicester.
The club is working together West Midlands Police to identify those who erected the flags along the M69 on Saturday.
Warwickshire Police is also investigating complaints of a ‘offensive’ banner with a depiction of a helicopter on fire was hung over the A444 prior of the match.

Leicester City owner Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha died in a helicopter crash in 2018.

Mr King said there was no place for this behaviour in football or any element of society and said anyone who is detected as being involved with this would be permanently expelled from our Club.

“The late owner of Leicester City and his family have done and continue to do a magnificent job in supporting their Club and their City with huge passion and generosity.”As a new owner, their path is one that I have followed and continue to draw inspiration from.

“The huge occasion on Saturday was soured for us at Coventry City because of these events, and we all hope never to see these incidents repeated again.”
