Despite being the youngest sibling in the Kelce family, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce was the focus of retirement rumors earlier this season. Kelce, who is widely regarded as one of the greatest tight ends in NFL history, told writer J.R. Moehringer in a November WSJ Magazine article that he considers retirement “more than anyone could ever imagine.”

Kelce, on the other hand, remains a weapon, as seen by his 11 receptions for 116 yards and one touchdown in the AFC championship game against the Baltimore Ravens. The tight end appeared to suggest after the Chiefs’ 17-10 victory that retirement would have to wait.

“It never gets old,” quarterback Patrick Mahomes told Kelce in an NFL Films video shared on social media Tuesday morning. “It makes you feel younger, baby!” Kelce responded. “I could do this another 11 years!” “I could do this for another 11 years.”

Will Kelce be around till 2034, his age-45 season? Probably not.

He seemed eager to stay until 2024, which is sufficient for Kansas City.
