Since it was revealed that Atlanta Braves sensation Ronald Acuna Jr. has discomfort in his right knee, fans have panicked.

In July 2021, he tore the ACL in his right knee, missing the rest of the season and restricting his performance in 2022.

That’s why everyone were so concerned: the soreness is in the same knee that blew out a few years ago.

He had an MRI on Friday, which revealed inflammation of the meniscus in his right knee, so the team planned a consultation with renowned surgeon Dr. Neal ElAttrache.

The whole Braves organization, fans, fantasy owners, and many more were holding their breath.

Fortunately, we have wonderful news to report.

“OF Ronald Acuña Jr. saw Dr. Neal ElAttrache in Los Angeles last night, who confirmed irritation in the meniscus of his right knee.” The organization announced on Twitter that Acuña Jr. will gradually increase his baseball activity and be ready for Opening Day.

His ACL repair is intact, which is fantastic news in and of itself.

However, there is irritation in the knee’s meniscus, therefore it is not without significance.

Still, the explosive outfielder and reigning NL MVP is projected to be ready for Opening Day, which is a significant gain for the Braves.

Acuna batted.337 last year, with 149 runs scored, 41 home runs, and 73 stolen bases, becoming a founding member of the 40-70 club.

With his knee injured, it’s impossible to expect him to maintain his thefts total, but he’ll aid the Braves in a variety of other ways.
