Landon Dickerson, a Jacobs Blocking Trophy winner and two-time Pro Bowl guard for the Philadelphia Eagles, has received a four-year contract deal worth $87 million. His contract is the most lucrative for a guard in league history.

According to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, “The #Eagles and Pro Bowl guard Landon Dickerson have agreed to terms on a four-year extension worth $84 million base and $87 million maximum value, source said.” He receives a total guaranteed salary of $50 million, as well as a $20 million signing bonus. The highest-paid guard in NFL history, earning $21 million per year. His agents at @_SportsTrust completed the transaction.”

The well-known guard was selected in the second round of the 2021 NFL Draft, 37th overall. The guard was entering his rookie year’s last deal, and now that he has the highest contract, he has also exceeded Chris Lindstrom’s contract.

Dickerson also wrote on Platform X, formerly Twitter, “Not Going Anywhere! @Eagles @_SportsTrust #FlyEaglesFly.

Dickerson was asked about his distinguished deal with the Eagles squad, and he responded, “I mean, I have a financial counsel for a reason. I’m not sure, but I may go get a new lawn mower. I’ve been researching “zero turns.”

Dickerson shared his emotional sentiments during a press conference at the NovaCare Complex, according to the Philadelphia Eagles. He stated, “It just demonstrates a lot of respect and trust in me to continue to grow as a player, develop, and do good things for this team and this city.” As I enter my fourth year, I believe I am ready to step up and take on additional leadership responsibilities. The extension demonstrates the respect and promise that the coaches and Howie (Roseman) see in me as a player. That only motivates me to work harder every day to improve my game.”

He added, “Being here has been a fantastic bright moment in my life. We (his family) had no plans to go somewhere else. Guys, when they leave our company and go somewhere else, they miss everything about it. For me, there was no question about how much I wanted to stay here, stick around here, and ideally be here for the rest of my career.”

Dickerson will now continue his career with the Eagles, where he has a bright future with one of the league’s best teams.
