Cardwell possesses the kind of skill set NBA teams look for in low-minute, high-impact positions at the five since he is a defensive and energetic player who can finish at the rim when set up correctly. Cardwell might be able to play a defensive-focused role on teams with potent offensive wings. A pick-and-roll expert in the backcourt would be perfect for an attacking contest, but most NBA players these days throw lobs.
