One of Kentucky Basketball’s top remaining prospects is scheduled to choose a college, and another may do the same as the team continues to bolster its roster.
Miikka Muurinen, a five-star forward, stated on Saturday that he will select his college on Monday, April 27. According to 247 Sports Composite, the 6-foot-10 big man is ranked 55th overall in the 2026 class.

Although Muurinen’s finalists are still unknown, Kentucky and Make Pope have been after him for the majority of the past year. However, Muurinen has family links to North Carolina because his mother played there, so the Tar Heels might be the option. North Carolina has been making a big push.
Oh, and according to Jeff Goodman, Tyran Stokes might also make his announcement on Monday, but his source is significantly less clear. This could be just another twist in a recruitment that has been full of them.
Although the Kansas Jayhawks are now seen as the clear favorite, Kentucky is undoubtedly committed to acquiring Stokes, the top overall recruit in the 2026 class.
If both decisions are made on Monday, I predict that neither guy will be selected by the Wildcats.
