Two players were added to the Seattle Seahawks’ roster on Monday, while one player with an injury classification was let go.
Both former Michigan State wide receiver Montorie Foster Jr. and undrafted Kentucky rookie linebacker D’Eryk Jackson have converted their minicamp tryout into an NFL contract, as was previously reported.
The Seahawks cut ties with former Miami Dolphins receiver and Washington State graduate River Cracraft, who was dismissed with a non-football injury designation, according to the NFL transaction wire. The nature of Cracraft’s ailment is unknown, but he did miss a lot of time with the Dolphins last season because of a shoulder issue.

Foster Jr., who was 5’11 and 188 pounds, didn’t even play football until his final year of high school, yet he went five seasons at Michigan State. He experienced a significant increase in output over his final two seasons, catching 89 catches for 1,164 yards and six touchdowns. He was named to the Academic All-Big Ten team twice and has little experience returning kicks.
