The Baltimore Ravens offense, led by Todd Monken, was one of the greatest in the NFL, finishing the regular season 13-4 and ranking fourth in scoring offense (28.4/g). While the Ravens were the NFL’s leading rushers, they also provided Lamar Jackson with some useful outside weapons. However, with Nelson Agholor and Odell Beckham Jr., who have combined for 946 yards and seven touchdowns on 70 receptions, ready to enter free agency, it is unclear whether they will return in 2024.

However, in the newest mock draft from NFL.com, the Ravens add Florida State’s Keon Coleman as another weapon for Jackson.
“An offensive lineman could be the play for the Ravens in Round 1,” according to NFL.com. “In this case, they decide to give Lamar Jackson a receiver who can win jump-ball battles and be a menace in the red zone.”

Coleman’s stats don’t stand out on the screen until you see his touchdown total from last season. The 6-4, 210-pound receiver scored 11 touchdowns (all in the red zone) on 50 receptions for 658 yards. Coleman would provide the Ravens with a physical beast whose presence on the field raises eyebrows. Despite his stature, Coleman has excellent speed and acceleration, making him a tough matchup in the red zone.

Coleman’s agility is also a strength, so getting the ball out quickly and letting him to do this in space might lead to large RAC yards, which the Ravens have had enough of this season.

Drafting a receiver in the first round may not make sense given Baltimore’s other needs, but Coleman is a big, powerful receiver who will bring another dimension to this already potent attack.
