The Kansas City Chiefs have a lot of decisions to make this offseason.

They have yet to re-sign Chris Jones to an extension, but they have franchise tagged L’Jarius Sneed, who is not anticipated to stay with the organization.

While several of their best defenders remain unknowns, the Chiefs did sign Drue Tranquill to a three-year contract worth $19 million.

Following the announcement of this news, Tranquill shared a photo of himself and Travis Kelce after the Chiefs’ Super Bowl victory, hinting that the Chiefs still have “unfinished business.”

 

The Chiefs are aiming for their third consecutive Super Bowl triumph in 2024.

Tranquill will now officially be on the roster as the team attempts to complete the first three-peat in NFL history.

After signing Tranquill, it will be intriguing to watch what further moves the Chiefs make this summer.

Many supporters feel the team will go to any length to re-sign Jones, who has publicly expressed his desire to stay with the squad.

There is also a rising fan base that wants the Chiefs to either sign a new wide out in free agency or invest a few draft picks to assist strengthen their offense.

With Marquez Valdez-Scantling’s release, Patrick Mahomes will need at least one new solid target to pass to.

Travis Kelce isn’t getting any younger, so the team may need to start looking for tight end options to boost their offense.
