Head coach Kellie Harper revealed on Tuesday that Mizzou women’s basketball had signed an Indiana transfer guard.

Caffey averaged 8.5 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 2.5 assists per game while starting all 32 Hoosier games. Harper stated, “Nevaeh is a rising star whose work ethic and mindset will elevate our program.” “It’s important for our staff to prioritize in-state talent and keep Missouri at the forefront—we’re excited to bring Nevaeh home!”

Twelve times, including the final eight of nine games to end the season, she scored in double figures. On February 28, Caffey scored a season-high 18 points in a win over Penn State.

Caffey, a native of Warrenton, Missouri, was ranked as the 65th recruit in the 2025 class.

Caffey, a four-star prospect, excelled during her four years at Incarnate Word Academy, winning four consecutive Missouri Class 6 State Championships and winning the title of 2025 Miss Show-Me Basketball. During her time with the Red Knights, the team won 139 games in a row, setting a national record.

She averaged 16.9 points, 3.4 rebounds, 2.4 assists, and 2.2 steals per game during her senior year. She was selected Class 6 First Team All-State, Class 6 All-State Player of the Year, and a third team All-American.

Caffey is the second transfer portal addition of the 2026 offseason for the Tigers.
