Georgia football is now experiencing one of its most active recruiting periods in recent memory. On Monday, the Bulldogs flipped a four-star safety from Georgia Tech, and on Tuesday, they added their top commit so far in the 2026 class.

Fast forward one day to Wednesday night, and Kirby Smart has received another commitment from one of the best players in the country.

4-star wide receiver CJ Wiley

According to On3’s Hayes Fawcett, four-star wide receiver CJ Wiley has committed to Georgia. According to the 247Sports composite rankings, Wiley is the country’s number 84 overall player. He is also the nation’s No. 13 wide receiver and Georgia’s No. 11 player.

This is the second flip of the week, since Wiley had previously committed to Florida State. Wiley decommitted from the Seminoles on October 27, and Georgia has been the team to beat ever since. In reality, Georgia was always a top contender on Wiley’s list, with the Bulldogs receiving three crystal ball predictions in their favor on 247Sports since June.

Wiley is officially the 25th player in the Bulldogs’ 2025 recruiting class, which remains ranked No. 3 in the country by 247Sports. However, they are only a few points behind Alabama and Ohio State, meaning Georgia has a very good chance of having the top recruiting class in the country for the second year in a row.

Smart and his colleagues cannot be stopped just now. This is Georgia’s third committment this week, and who knows, maybe Smart still has some magic under his sleeve.

Regardless of what happens later this week, this has been one of the most successful recruiting weeks of the year. Let’s hope the Bulldogs wrap things up with a strong win over Ole Miss on Saturday.
